Change begins with accepting the circumstances that are. Usually this means accepting our-selves in whatever circumstances we are in and accepting our abilities and inabilities that seem manifest at the time being.
Self-acceptance is looking ourselves in the eye and seeing who and what we really are and accepting this as it is. When we do this we can begin to find out where we’d like to go from there and get down to working for it, accepting all we might meet on the way. Often things just change as our attitudes towards ourselves change; often it’s a lot of work and a long way to make the big change we want to make. But it’s getting on our feet and walking that path that makes the change, accepting who we are.
Today is a great day to look ourselves in the face and smile in self-acceptance. This way we can recconect with ourselves and move towards meeting our earthy roots; we become centered and can make the change!
Accepting ourselves gets us rooted and tuned in to ourselves; and whoever we are, this makes us beautiful!
