Demolition-Therapy

studio_thumbHow often do we get the chance to let it all out by physically destroying? And all that for a good purpose!

Every now and again I thoroughly enjoy getting rid of excess energy and tension by using heavy tools to break something down or to dig a deep hole or similar. And the effect this kind of work has on me is really therapeutic.

I do tend to give all when doing this kind of job; so I’m working out my body and freeing my mind whilst doing it. Instead of just giving enough to get the job done sometime and somehow I try to use my whole body and get as much movement out of it as I can.

This way I’m building up physical strength through the exercise as well as building up mental strength by getting myself to keep the pace up and preserving a good attitude and approach to the task; this expands my mental follow-through in every-day life situations.
Further any kind of grudge, fixed mindset or other negative emotional energy is released and as my body produces more and more endorphines I become a lot more happy and emotionally balanced.
In the example of the following video I really am breaking down a physical concrete building and at the same time I seem to break down walls of thoughts and tenson that are not benificial to keep a clean and receptive mind and a balanced flow of emotions.

All in all it’s the attitude in which you approach the task that generates positive, creative energy or drains energy. So a stinky old hard job like breaking down this shit-pit can become medicine and have a great healing and balancing potential.


In my past my life sometimes felt hard and I let myself suffer a lot of the tasks and situations instead of being able to benefit from them; I was often depressive and not able to see the light on the horizon.
Nowadays I see it as a gift to have a healthy attitude towards the many things that cross my path. Life is wildly fascinating and can be loads of fun if we are able to find a healthy angle of perception. This kind of work has often become a tool to me by now and I am able to appreciate it as well as many other things.

GET OUTSIDE AND MOVE TO YOUR ROOTS!
