Mobilizing legs and opening hips – kicks
Isn’t it great to be able to spend time outdoors in a T-shirt and shorts again, and walk barefoot without it being a cold-conditioning practice! I’m outside training a lot more than I was in winter too. That’s not because I generally don’t train much in winter, it’s more that this winter and spring I’ve been renovating a house that we’re going to move into soon, so I’ve had a lot less time than usual.
And focussing on what I had to do, I became a bit lax on some of my usual work-out routine. For a few weeks I’ve been picking things up again more consequently and have got back into routine. Still I have to smile at some of my workouts, as especially speed gets lost quickly if you interrupt training routine.
So is my following video a great example of a good leg and hip warm-up, opening the hips nicely. I do lack a bit in precision though, but never mind. I might do this video again in a month or six weeks, and you’ll definitely see the difference.
